“#artoffline” — Documentary

#artoffline is a feature documentary that explores contemporary art and its problematic relationship with information technology.

Visiting the world's great art museums has become more about taking a selfie in front of the Mona Lisa than examining the chiaroscuro effect in a Rembrandt or the intricate textures of a van Gogh. What happens to the personal art experience when art history permeates society through ubiquitous imagery on postcards, calendars, and Google's vast and ever-increasing archives? #artoffline takes us into the current issues of art and society, and explores what the future of seeing and experiencing art through technology can — and should — be.
